Update the Email-address#

Introduction#

B2ACCESS requires alwasy a validated email-address. For this reason a new email-address needs to be entered and validated before the old one can be deleted. If the email-addess is provided by the remote Identity Provider, e.g. your home organisation, it will be updated automatically. If this information is outdated, please update them at the remote Identity Provider first, otherwise it will be resetted at the next login.

Updating the email-address#

To update the email-address please perform this steps:

  • Login at the user home endpoint
  • Add the new email-address
  • Confirm the new email via the link which was send to it
  • Delete the old email-address
